Eric founded Samuel Jacques Associates to provide a credible, tailored and responsive alternative to ‘corporate’ executive search. This is founded on a track of outstanding leadership talent acquisition in technology, professional and business services and Digital, both B2B and B2C, working in partnership with international clients.
Eric built his prominent reputation in for mould-breaking executive hires through periods as Director for TMT (Telecoms, Media and Technology) at Hanover Fox International and Boyden, and subsequently at Amrop Augmentum through to its sale to CT Partners in 2013.
Eric’s background outside consulting includes copper trading and operations for a global commodities trading leader; initiation and supervision of early-stage investments across Europe for a venture capital buy-out Trust; and setting up and growing a specialist construction and modular building company as founder shareholder and Managing Director from 1992 through to successful sale in 1997.
Eric achieved a degree in French and German from Oxford University (Balliol College) in 1982 and an MBA from INSEAD in 1989; he is a fluent French and German speaker.
